Where’s the harm in making or buying small dog clothes?
I know, I know, people with small dogs who treat them like kids seem to maybe be in a bit of a fantasy world, but truly, what is the harm?
And when you see a little dog really decked out in a cute outfit, it does raise a smile on most people’s faces and that can only be a good thing.
You could drop some doggie clothes into dog gift baskets, but you’d need to be fairly sure of your recipient, cause you want to give something they’ll love and use (and hopefully not chew up and drag around the back yard when noone’s watching)

Sugar and spice and all things nice are not necessarily what little (or big) girls are made of.
In compiling or selecting a gift basket for girl you need to consider not only the girl’s age, but her interests and even her pet hates.
As a kid, I hated dolls – the only little girl in a street full of little boys, I found dolls to be universally despised and did not want to be associated with them.
As a kid, I loved to read, but more Lassie than Nancy Drew.
Some girls love frilly pink stuff to death, some girls will throw anything prissy on the ground and stomp on it.
Think of who you are buying for when you make or buy a gift basket for girl consumption, cause no one size fits all.

Christmas gift ideas for female
If it’s a little girl, don’t assume she loves dolls or the latest kiddy thing on TV
If it’s your wife or girlfriend, don’t assume she wants a kitchen appliance or garden tool
If it’s a lover, don’t assume she wants sexy underwear for your visual delight.
It it’s your mum (or your partner’s mum) don’t assume anything age specific.
In fact, don’t ever assume.
Do some research on the recipient and get it right. If you want something that is guaranteed to bring a happy smile and last awhile, consider gift baskets for women and make some educated choices of what to put in the one you choose.

It is well and truly high summer in Australia and if I were to be thinking about thank you fruit baskets (which I am) I would be seeking out a few fresh mangoes and red pawpaws from Tropical North Queensland.
I’d be teaming that up with some local lychees and kiwis that are incredibly juicy and thirst quenching fruit, local peaches, blueberries and nectarines and even plump, dark cherries from Southern New South Wales.
The only thing with making your own thank you fruit baskets is getting each fruit at the right time so there is no bruising or “going off” in transit.
My thank you gift basket will be going to work with me on Monday. It won’t last long.

What’s in Italian themed gift baskets?
Good food and good wine (red, of course) is my idea of a great Italian themed gift basket (though I haven’t had a drink in 3 years, a girl can still fantasize)
Red wine, pasta, interesting little biscuits, crackers and fantastic cheeses would be a heavenly gift basket for any occasion. A nice photo book of the Italian countryside or an Italian cookbook would round out the gift hamper for me.
Can you believe that Gorgonzola cheese was banned as an import in Australia for many years until quite recently? Thankfully the authorities came to their senses and we can now enjoy this amazing Italian export without traveling to Europe.

Only 2 weeks to go and if you haven’t yet worked out your xmas gift for husband you are probably getting into serious stress out territory.
Not just what to get as a husband’s gift but when to hit those shops now that the crowds have gone truly ballistic.
Twice last week, my husband felt the need to tell people to back off (once in the supermarket, once in the bank – and he got a cheer each time from the people around him!) as they tried to elbow their ways to the front of the counter. Not the best face of the Christmas season.
So as a xmas gift for your husband, you should consider shopping online and I for one will be buying gift baskets for men for my blokes cause that’s very easy for me to get hold of gifts that will be appreciated and used.
Good luck with your Christmas shopping. It’s a jungle out there!

Dog Gift Baskets.
I’m just watching the news tonight and I’m seeing the president of the RSPCA saying that pet owners who don’t walk their dogs should/will be thrown in jail.
As one bemused dog lover said, who’s going to walk the dog then?
Maybe the best gift you can give a busy or incapacitated dog owner would be to walk or play with their dog occasionally.
But for something concrete and meaningful
for the person who owns a beloved dog, dog owner gifts should include dog gift baskets.
These gift baskets can be themed toward the pet, the owner or both and they are sure to be appreciated.

Slugs and snails and puppy dogs tails; a pretty gruesome mix of what little boys are supposedly made of. (Though done with a bit of garlic butter, snails are just delicious)
In my experience boys are curious, adventurous and eager to receive gifts that they can use up, do “stuff” with and/or tinker with to their satisfaction.
Gift basket for boys should contain some interesting little food items, some adventure filled reading matter and some toys that boys need to build or run with or figure out for themselves to give them the satisfaction they crave.
